This scholarship award is to be given to the church youth member who meets the following criteria:(1) Has received Christ as their personal Savior (2) Has been baptized by immersion (3) Is active in the church in some junior leadership position for at least 2 years (Examples: Teacher in training, Junior Nursery Helper, Junior Deacon in Training, Junior Worship Leader, and/or President of a Church Auxiliary.) (4) The student must also have no less than a GPA of 3.0 and exceptional school attendance record (5) Must be active in the community and has provided a minimum of 100 hours of volunteer service to one or more non-profit organizations during a 12 month period. Furthermore, the applicant is not just an asset to the family but a contributor to the family household (example: a job, or very helpful around the house, and obedient to their parent(s).(6) The applicant must submit an essay of 1,000 words entitled ‘Why It Is Important to Be a Christian Servant’Depending on the funds available from the ESTELLA MINISTRIES FOUNDATION a student or students will receive up to or more than a Five Hundred Dollar Scholarship ($500.00) Award.
